PAINTING YOUR CANVAS

As I sit and contemplate the year 2005, I am filled with anticipation and excitement at what we will manifest together on our beloved Mother Earth. While it is only a month since writing on the energy of December, in terms of time it feels like a year of experiences has been compressed into that final month of 2004. The completion moons of the year, the 12:12, Solstice, and the profound portal opened by those loving souls that left in the wake of the Earthquake/Tsunami in Asia, has left an indelible mark on our hearts.

The energy of 2004 was described as the “Year of Mastery”. By definition Mastery speaks to having control over our lives, not through fear but from a place of complete trust in our process and the lessons we have created to elevate our awareness and consciousness. Mastery occurs in layers or stages, each development building on the other. 2004 offered us an amazing opportunity to examine ourselves in a myriad of ways. We allowed the energy of change to inhabit relationships in our lives that were possibly stagnant or complete, allowing ourselves to be supported by many powerful astrological alignments, star-gates, grid frequency changes, deep cellular re-coding and an undeniable feeling of accomplishment as we mastered each experience and opportunity.

2005 is numerically a “seven”. Seven is known as a searcher and seeker of truth. Collectively we will be soul searching and asking questions that push us to look deeper in the mysteries of our life and path. The potential for continued change and growth in our relationships will remain ever present. Each of us will find our own way to recognize and pursue our soul’s design. We will be pulling from the shadows those parts of ourselves that may have resisted examination, often this can result in a sense of chaos as we turn everything up side down to take a good look.

January is always a time of inward reflection combined with intents or pledges we make for our desires to manifest in the weeks and months to come. We are bridging many different levels of ourselves. All of us are star-seeded galactic beings of light, with many levels of inter-dimensional awareness being woven into a mantle that surrounds and supports us. Our frequency and vibration is being elevated to allow for continued expansion and downloading from our multi-dimensional aspects, and our I AM Presence. As this occurs the crystalline grids within and around our planet are continually being adjusted to match the new frequencies. Our DNA is recalibrating these frequency alignments and our cells are simultaneously balancing this influx of higher vibration.

2005 has a feeling of spaciousness and opportunity. It reminds me of an unfinished watercolor on canvas. There are some parts that must remain static (the background) but the space between the background and foreground (our now) is empty. We are now actively deciding what we want our canvas (reality) to render. The hues and energy of the colours will blend into a unique picture – representing our internal and external perception and consciousness.

What are the solid or static parts of your canvas? Are you willing to look at why they are remaining in form? Perhaps they are something you no longer want – but are being energized or maintained by your attention. I recently had the great good fortune to speak with a very wise Shaman. I was asking how we create and maintain our reality and how can we shift or manipulate the energy of a situation. As is often the case his answer was short and actually caused a great internal dialogue within myself to find the answer – always the sign of a great master. He began by explaining the universal Law of Attraction as being our polarity universe. The Law of Attraction states that all that is like unto itself will be drawn to it. When we find ourselves in a situation that we don’t like or want – we often energize it with our attention and it continues in form and action.

A polarity universe is created when we resist what “is” and the cycle continues. We often find ourselves being at the receiving end of energy coming from an individual, group, community or country. Often attached to it is an imprint of the reality they wish you to inherit and subscribe too. When this occurs and we disagree the emotional charge of disagreement, upset, fear etc…amplifies the imprint and we attract it to us.

He explained that when we do not resist what is being sent but instead be allowing of what it is (without judgement or charge) and hold a strong deliberate and dedicated version of what YOU wish to occur – the energy will shift or manipulate the outcome.

This information is certainly not new – but it struck a deep cord for me. This simple application can deeply affect our relationships with loved ones, our work place, how we respond to our body - it is endless. As we move into this powerful year we are being pushed to take back more responsibility for our lives and the situations that we find ourselves in.

Each of us is a unique and powerful being of light, we are here by our design and choice to remember our wholeness and the intricate ways we are so connected to each other. Our bodies are changing daily to incorporate our light and frequency alignments. We often feel a heaviness or lethargy after a full night’s sleep, or maybe we are experiencing the inability to sleep soundly. Our dreamtime is becoming an “awakened” review while being aware of the dream.

We are feeling drawn to sacred sites and self review. As always the planets and stars divinely support us. The following year will offer many more stargates, portals, downloads and energy activation’s.

Jan 10, Monday. This new Moon (21 Capricorn) makes its closest approach to the Earth this year, though New Moons aren’t visible because the Moon is with the Sun the effect of the Moon being so near the Earth is still felt especially since the Sun is still so near the Earth. (see Jan 2). The tiny crescent New Moon may be visible just after sunset with binoculars and a low horizon. This New Moon conjures images of spirit descending from the formless into form. In Edith Hamilton’s book Mythology she quotes a poem from Aristophanes a great playwright and poet that describes the Greek creation story. First she explains that creation begins with Chaos. Chaos is the “vast immeasurable abyss…shapeless nothingness.” Erebus and Night are the two Children of Chaos. Erebus is “the unfathomable depth where death dwells.” In the beginning this was all there was. There was no thing. All was “black, silent, empty, endless…And then a marvel of marvels came to pass, from this horror of blank boundless vacancy the best of all things came into being…”

Jan 25, Tuesday. Today is the Leo Full Moon and it is the furthest Full Moon from the Earth this year so it will appear slightly smaller than other Full Moon appearances. The Leo Full Moon inspires images of golden ages past, when the Shining Ones walked the Earth with royal radiant golden auras living in balance and harmony with all life. There was peace and plenty for all. These times are remembered through myths and stories in nearly every culture on our planet. It is a time many of us yearn for in our deepest heart’s desire. It is a time we have come to co-create again during the Turning Of The Ages through our willingness to envision or imagine it by feeling what it feels like to live it and to feel and know it as our emerging reality. The balance we find in January will set the stage or foundation for the coming months. The energy will accrue accordingly. Never before has the lesson and practice of unconditional love been such a precedent for the coming year. 2004 saw many completing and releasing long term relationships – this will continue in 2005 as our relationships continue to expand and hold more of our truth and light. Be aware of staying present, not holding onto something from the past, or projecting your expectations into the future.

So many on our planet are grieving the loss of loved ones at this time for many different reasons. Allow for the completion of karma and movement forward, do so with unconditional love for yourself and for them. Be aware that often we become side tracked with what society has deemed appropriate for us and the plans we hold. Nothing is carved in stone and to remain rigid or stuck with your game plan will cause greater resistance and drama.

During the month of January utilize the energy of silent review and allow yourself to feel deeply what is working in your life and allows for a feeling of excitement and expansion. If you are facing the release of something or someone, allow the emotion to wash over you with blessings for whatever way it has served you. Trust that your angels, guides and all manner of energetic support are within you and beside you in every moment.

2005 is going to be a very potent and powerful mid-point in this decade. It will enhance the changes we have made and will support further ones that clarify our path and service.

About Shala

Shala was born and raised on Vancouver Island, in Western Canada and continues to make her home on this magical island. The death of her father in 1975 was the catalyst for what has now become a 28-year study of Spirituality, Energy, Frequency, Vibration & Healing.
